For me, it all started off with the quest to identify which screws need to be adjusted to bring about a fair economic order. Over time, I came to realise that no empirical method, however refined, could help me with this and that the failure of the analysis of societal systems to take into account the aspects that gave them meaning constituted a fundamental problem. The same problem is also evident in society\u2019s treatment of the biosphere. Thus the idea of consciously integrating subjective variables in the context of co-evolutionary systems<\/a> guided by meaning was born.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
